About me
Hi my name is Craig Rushworth (Bobby), and I provide manual driving lessons in Halifax and Elland.
I am 54 years old, and having worked in the glass industry for my whole career (from 16 years old) when I was presented with an opportunity to explore other options I jumped at the chance, having mentored and trained a number of apprenticeships through my career I knew in my next step I wanted to do something that added value and mattered.
So here is what I can bring into the world of teaching students to drive, I am a level 2 British Cycling Coach, coaching children and young adults aged 7 through to 21 from learning the basic skills to having them race ready. I am now extending (literally with another 2 wheels) my portfolio, bringing with me the knowledge and adaptability needed to coach and teach people to drive. I will work with my students, and understand their needs and wants from a lesson, and how they learn, after all one way doesn’t fit all.
As an individual I am patient, understanding, knowledgeable, calm and kind, you can have the confidence in me through my experience mentoring in the glass industry and cycling that I can get the best out of students adapting methods to ensure each lesson is valuable and is moving you in the right direction to getting that licence and opening up the world that little bit further for you.
In my personal life, I live in Elland, and I am happily married to my childhood sweetheart, and have a son aged 18. In my spare time you will often find me in Wyke, coaching at East Bradford Cycling Club and the Aspire race team (of which my 18 year old son is part of). Seeing your students achieve their goals provides you with the sense of achievement and provides you with the satisfaction that you have made a difference and added a little bit to their success.
Thank you for considering me as your driving instructor; I look forward to working with you in the future as you start your next exciting chapter in life, learning to drive. To get on the road to success please "Contact me"
